Spanish invoicing, in a language you read every day
You are registered as an autónomo or run an S.L. in Spain, and every invoice comes with a word you have to look up. contix is invoicing software made for Spain, with the whole app in English: your invoices go out Veri*factu-ready, in the Spanish the tax agency expects, and you never have to work in a language you are not fluent in.
What you do with contix
- Issue invoices with the Veri*factu QR code and hash chain, and send them by email straight from the app. Quotes, recurring invoices and corrective invoices (facturas rectificativas) are included.
- Record expenses by taking a photo of the receipt: contix reads the amounts and keeps the original with the expense.
- See your VAT and income tax figures for the quarterly forms (modelos 303, 130, 202, 349, 347 and 390), calculated from what you have recorded.
- Share everything with your gestor: they get their own access and a quarterly export, so you stop emailing spreadsheets.
- Invoice public administrations through FACe with a Facturae file, also from the app.
- Import your bank statement and match payments to invoices.
What is in English, and what stays Spanish
The app is in English, Spanish and German, and it picks your browser's language. A built-in glossary explains the Spanish terms you meet on the way (base imponible, recargo de equivalencia, factura simplificada and others).
Your invoices and the emails your customers receive are in Spanish, because they are Spanish invoices for Spanish customers and authorities. You write the line items in whatever language you like.
Veri*factu is built in
From 2027 every invoicing program used in Spain has to follow the Veri*factu rules (Real Decreto 1007/2023): each invoice carries a QR code and a cryptographic link to the previous one. contix does this from the first invoice, at no extra cost, and our Declaración Responsable is published. contix connects to Claude and ChatGPT. Type in English, «invoice Estudio López 8 hours of design at 55 euros», and the invoice is created in Spanish. Anything final, like issuing or cancelling an invoice, asks you first. How to connect it (page in Spanish) →
What contix does not do
contix is software, not an accountant. It issues invoices from what you enter and adds up your figures; what you file and how, you decide with your gestor. It does not cover SII, TicketBAI or the regional tax systems of the Basque Country and Navarre.
Who is behind it
contix is made by Martin Schenk S.L. in Madrid. Martin's own company issues its invoices with contix every day, so every rule in the app has been through a real quarter.
